I tried to come up with some kind of list to commemorate this occasion: "the top 100 normal~ish _____" But damn. I don't feel like I have enough brain cells to come up with 100 of anything right now. Especially since Eric and I shared a bottle of wine with dinner tonight. This is a rarity these days and it has made me even more brain dead. {but it was tasty: seven daughters ... jumped in my cart at Whole Foods because of the beautiful bottle and actually tasted almost as good as it looked}
I've been blogging for almost a year -- in April I'll celebrate my actual birthday as well as my blog's birthday. I've gotten quite attached to my little corner of the web and have grown to love the blogosphere even more than I thought possible. These first 100 posts have been {possibly a bit too much} fun for me. I plan to make a blurb book in the near future -- a random "baby book"/scrapbook/journal -- taken from the first year of normal~ish. It will be really nice to have an actual tactile something on the bookshelf to assuage my mama guilt from neglecting to: fill in the baby book, keep track of milestones, getting photo prints made, start scrapbooking, get regular professional portraits taken, actually distribute the prints from the {overdue} portraits ... and on and on.
Hmmm ... that gives me an idea for a top 100 list: "I'd rather be blogging: the top 100 neglected tasks of a mama blogger." That would be do-able. Ah, you take the good with the bad ...
Cheers to the first 100 and here's to the next ... thanks for reading!
